Zero for two March 3, 2010 Curtis C. Hainds (Colorado) I have received two brewers and both have been defective. The first worked about 3 days and then didn't complete the brew cycle, leaving about a half inch of water in the cup. Keurig replaced it with little fuss. The second brewer lasted about two weeks with a similar failure, but not quite the same. The third unit is on it's way, but needless to say, I have wasted too much time on this problem already and this will be the last.
Perfect for work March 1, 2010 E. Menzies I ordered this brewer because I simply couldn't stand the free coffee in our office and was tired of paying more than $2/cup at the cafe upstairs. Now I get whatever flavor and strength of coffee I want (they even make half-caf K-cups!), as many cups as I want, for between 30 and 45 cents each. The brewer is the perfect size to fit on the desk in my cube and it brews quietly enough that no one can tell when I'm using it (we do have a white noise machine which probably covers up some of the brewing noise); I have not had any of the shaking/vibrating problems that some people have experienced. At least three of my friends have bought their own Keurig after using mine. Can't say enough good things about it - I love it!.
A few days in, so far so good. February 28, 2010 C. Tom (Bellevue, WA) I have had the B40 for several days now and am enjoying it so far. I have used it twice a day without any problems. It brews up a good cup of coffee and am still working on finding my favorite K-Cup. Enjoying the Extra Bold varieties in the 9.25oz setting. No issues with noise or any other complaints for that matter. Will update this review after I have more time using the B40.
Coffee Maker February 25, 2010 Isabelle Caputo (VALLEY STREAM, NY, US) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great to use. Pods are expensive. Wish they were more reasonably priced. Do not like the fact that brochure accompanying
product states State of California says product can cause cancer because of lead. However, I know so many people who have
one and they are still going strong.
Wish Keurig would have issued a statement on what State of California says.
Second times a charm February 24, 2010 Lazy Girl (Oregon) I bought my first Keurig and it didn't work right. It wouldn't prime, the lights never came on, ect. I returned it and replaced it with an identical model. I love it. It'w well worth the space on my counter. I bought a pack of K-Cup lids, so now I can can heat hot water in it. I'm glad I didn't give up after the first problem.
